Penmac Staffing is hiring an Assembly Technician for a local manufacturing client in Springfield, MO. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who enjoy building products, following instructions, and working with hand tools. - Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and reference models
- Experience using impact tools and other hand tools preferred
- Knowledge of common bolt sizes and fasteners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 10 hours per shift
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Assemble metal frames and steel panels according to specifications
- Use impact tools and hand tools to install bolts, fasteners, and components
- Follow assembly instructions and reference models to ensure product accuracy
- Inspect assembled products for quality and completeness
- Operate overhead cranes to safely rotate and position units during the assembly process
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Perform additional production and assembly duties as assigned
Schedule and Pay
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Mandatory overtime required as needed
- $19.50 per hour
