QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications

Some college coursework or technical education preferred
IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and/or IPC-620 certification or experience
Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus
Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Do

Lead daily assembly operations to ensure production schedules and customer delivery commitments are achieved
Coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and workflow efficiency
Supervise and support a team of up to 20 employees, including group leaders and assembly personnel
Monitor production performance and drive improvements in quality, efficiency, throughput, and schedule attainment
Train, mentor, and develop team members while building future leaders within the organization
Provide hands-on support and guidance related to assembly processes, machine operation, and production tooling
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, housekeeping, and operational standards
Troubleshoot production challenges and lead problem-solving efforts to minimize disruptions
Support and lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on process improvement and waste reduction
Maintain accurate production records and utilize ERP systems to manage workflow and production activities
Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development initiatives
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements
What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and workflow management
Experience working with ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing setting
Ability to lead teams through problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to remain organized, detail-oriented, and decisive in a fast-paced environment
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to customer satisfaction
