Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Assembly Supervisor to lead daily production activities on the plant floor. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations by supervising assembly and production lines, coordinating machine setup and maintenance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily assembly and production operations to meet quality, delivery, and output goals
- Oversee equipment setup, changeovers, and operator assignments; ensure machines are production-ready.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and maximize equipment performance.
- Review blueprints, work orders, and schedules to plan production resources and workflows.
- Train, coach, and evaluate employees on safety, equipment operation, and quality standards.
- Lead troubleshooting and implement corrective actions for production and equipment issues.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience, including supervisory experience in a production or assembly environment.
- Experience with assembly operations, machine setup, maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical documents.
- Strong leadership, training, and team coordination skills.
- Proficiency with production tracking and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
