Think, try, and thrive with us in collaborative work environments that spark game-changing concepts.\n \nJob Overview:\n \nCoordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules; Support team members at Mercedes-Benz Vans building state-of-the-art vans for the American automotive market.\n \nSHIFT: This position is for 2nd shift \n \nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES \n\n Conduct and participate in team and group meetings\n Supports the assembly of the vehicle at the assigned work station on a moving assembly line by following defined procedures. \n Assists with minor products or components with small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations \n Helps transport necessary materials and/or parts to designated areas of the assembly line \n Performs basic equipment adjustments and routing maintenance \n May perform miscellaneous jobs such as cleaning and maintaining work area \n Works according to established trade and shop practices and defined procedures \n Completes and ensure availability of appropriate documentation related to the production process\n Works under close supervision \n All other duties, as assigned\n \nTECHNICAL SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES \n\n Mastery of work responsibilities \n Regular co-working in the working stations \n Reliever/supporter in the case of minimal qualifications\n Short term replacement for (un)scheduled temporary absence according to regulation\n Eradication of components which are not the defined standard\n Support in the case of vans with special equipment\n Function as utility person and replacement\n Support of the team to ensure a frictionless workflow\n Control availability of material (check installation if necessary)\n Support process of solving team internal cooperation problems\n Report disruptions, organize disruption management\n \nQualifikationen\n \nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n Completed MBV Team Leader Training Program \n* High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. 0-2 years of experience\n \nWe are all in for change.
