Job Position:Assembly Technician
Pay:$18.00 $20.00+ per hour (depending on experience)
Location:North East Tulsa
Shift:Monday Friday | 3: 00 PM 1: 00 AM (Overtime as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support aircraft fabrication and assembly operations in a production environment. This role focuses on fabricating, assembling, and repairing metallic and non-metallic aircraft components while following engineering specifications and work instructions.

The Assembly Technician will apply moderate to complex fabrication techniques, operate a variety of tools and equipment, and ensure all work meets required quality and engineering standards.


Key Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and repair detail parts, subassemblies, and complete aircraft assemblies
Perform routine and non-routine fabrication and assembly tasks following blueprints and work instructions
Mark dimensions and perform routing, sawing, drilling, and other value-added processes
Operate hand and power tools including routers, drills, grinders, and sanders
Perform trimming, grinding, deburring, beveling, and polishing operations
Assemble parts using fasteners, adhesives, and installation techniques per specifications
Operate production equipment such as presses, shears, drills, and mills
Inspect completed work to ensure conformance with engineering and quality standards
Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-departmental support


Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience fabricating and assembling metallic and non-metallic aircraft parts
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production plans
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic production machinery
Strong understanding of aircraft fabrication and assembly practices
Ability to work with close tolerances and meet quality standards
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
