Assembly Technician

Summary:
Assembly Technicians needed for a busy employer located in Athens, Ohio. This position involves sub-assembly and final assembly of products in a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and takes pride in producing quality work.

• Produces components and finished products by assembling parts and subassemblies using hand and small power tools.
• Follows standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality standards (written and verbal).
• Completes production records and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Works collaboratively with team members to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

This is a temporary, full-time position hiring immediately. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, attendance, and dependability will receive strong consideration for permanent hire following a probationary period.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Pay: $15.00/hour
Candidates hired directly by the company are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

• Possess the dexterity and attention to detail necessary to work with small parts and components.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
