 RF Assembly Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic assemblies, subassemblies, RF modules, and systems using standard measuring tools and techniques.
  • Perform wire termination and install wire harnesses, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, heatsinks, fans, amplifier covers, and other components.
  • Solder components under a microscope, following IPC-A-610 (class 3) standards.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and rework units as needed.
  • Create and communicate corrective actions for PCB assembly errors.
  • Measure sizes and dimensions using calipers, interpret bar graphs, and understand assembly drawings.
  • Use hand tools such as torque wrenches, cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and soldering irons.
  • Work with printed circuit boards containing surface mount components as small as 0402, ensuring correct orientation of electronic components.
Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED; technical school or certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical and electronic assembly.
  • Experience with crimping, cable, harnessing, and chassis wiring.
  • Understanding of IPC-A-610 or similar soldering and electronics assembly standards; certification a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or relevant ASQ certification is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
