RF Assembly Technician

Responsibilities:

Assemble electronic assemblies, subassemblies, RF modules, and systems using standard measuring tools and techniques.
Perform wire termination and install wire harnesses, cable assemblies, relays, transformers, heatsinks, fans, amplifier covers, and other components.
Solder components under a microscope, following IPC-A-610 (class 3) standards.
Conduct quality control inspections and rework units as needed.
Create and communicate corrective actions for PCB assembly errors.
Measure sizes and dimensions using calipers, interpret bar graphs, and understand assembly drawings.
Use hand tools such as torque wrenches, cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and soldering irons.
Work with printed circuit boards containing surface mount components as small as 0402, ensuring correct orientation of electronic components.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED; technical school or certification preferred.
3-5 years of experience in mechanical and electronic assembly.
Experience with crimping, cable, harnessing, and chassis wiring.
Understanding of IPC-A-610 or similar soldering and electronics assembly standards; certification a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or relevant ASQ certification is a plus.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
