Position Summary:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for installing parts as required to meet goals and objectives in compliance with standard work time.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Install parts: motors, consoles, lids, gunnel boards, hard tops, upholstery, helm seats, and tackle stations.
- Must be able to follow all safety rules and hazardous material guidelines.
- Able to follow directions.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to keep work area and nearby area clean at all times.
- All other duties as might be required.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Read/Write/Understand English.
- Experience with different types of hand tools.
- Experience with electrical a plus.
- Some dexterity.
- Ability to work with others.
Physical Demands:
- Standing/walking for long periods of time.
- Bending, kneeling (squatting), lifting, twisting continuously throughout the day.
- Have the ability to move heavy objects.
