The Panther Group is hiring experienced Assembly Technicians for a leading Advanced Robotics & Mission Systems manufacturer in the Franklin, MA area.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with electro-mechanical assembly experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies while following engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, fabricate, test, and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies
Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions
Install and assemble a variety of electrical and mechanical components
Perform manufacturing tasks with limited engineering guidance
Safely operate hand tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools
Perform hand soldering as needed
Ensure all work meets quality and customer specifications
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Organize and maintain assembly workstations and tools
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet production goals
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
2–5 years of manufacturing experience involving both electrical and mechanical assembly
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials
Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic shop-floor math
Ability to manage priorities and meet production schedules in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing hand soldering
Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and/or J-STD-001 standards
Experience working with complex electro-mechanical assemblies
Additional Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and customer requirements.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety protocols.
Pay up to $25 per hour depending on experience.
