Assembly Technician

The Assembly Technician is responsible for accurately assembling parts and components in alignment with detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. This role requires proficiency with various hand and power tools, a strong attention to detail during inspections, and effective communication to support seamless production workflows. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and organized workspace while contributing to process improvements and assisting with related production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components following work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment safely and accurately.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for proper fit, finish, alignment, and function.
• Prepare, organize, and stage materials for assembly and production orders.
• Adhere to production processes to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and related departments to resolve issues and ensure workflow continuity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
• Identify opportunities to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and safety.
• Support packaging, labeling, inventory movement, or other production tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, production procedures, and safety expectations.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, basic shop equipment, and measuring tools, or willingness to learn.
• Dependable work habits, including consistent attendance, punctuality, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented production environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills, ask questions, and support continuous improvement.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Preferred:

· Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, fabrication, maintenance, automotive, construction, or a related hands-on environment.

· Experience reading basic drawings, diagrams, work instructions, or bills of materials.

· Familiarity with quality checks, inventory handling, packaging, shipping preparation, or lean manufacturing practices.

· Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning more about parts, tools, equipment, and production processes.
