At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.The position assists manufacturing to meet its continuous improvement goals such product cost reduction improve overall product quality reduced product cycle times and process validations. The individual in this position shall work with ManufacturingProcess engineers. Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations including working with engineers in set-up as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts components subassemblies and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.ResposibilitiesAssemblingPackaging productsFilling out paperwork for related assemblies and production activityCommunicating discrepancies or potential issues as neededAs necessary performs other duties as requiredUnderstanding of measuring devices prints and quality control documents specifications and requirements.Operation of mechanical electrical and optical tools and equipment for quality inspection.Ensures high quality standards associated with assembly production to manufacture superior medical product assemblies.Uses programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products instruments or equipment.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent0-2 years experience in a related field is requiredAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsMicroscope experienceAbility to follow GMPs Good Manufacturing Practice using Standard Operating ProceduresMaintains records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirementsUse various measurement devices to record data and produce assemblies to written specificationsManual dexterity eye hand coordination and visual acuityAbility to read write and understand EnglishAbility to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detailMaintain product traceability and identificationIdentify and segregate Non-Conforming ProductEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workersAble to work closely with other people.Detail oriented.Electronic Skills Has a basic understanding of electricity.Computer Skills Is familiar with Microsoft Office products.Additional Desirable QualificationsPrevious experience in a Controlled Environment AreaDemonstrated abilities to train othernew operatorsCompensationSalary Range 20.50 - 25.00 Depending on experienceThis position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ITARVisa sponsorship is not available for any position at ExcelitasEqual OpportunityAffirmative Action EmployerMinoritiesFemalesDisabilityVeteranGender IdentitySexual OrientationExcelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team Visit httpsjobs.excelitas.com
