Assembly Technician
We are currently seeking motivated candidates with mechanical aptitude or assembly experience for a manufacturing company in Kent, Ohio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and develop your skills in trailer manufacturing.
Join a reputable manufacturer where you'll assist with a variety of assembly tasks, from drilling holes to mounting equipment and cleaning trailers. This role is essential to the production process, allowing you to contribute directly to the creation of high-quality trailers.

Hours
1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
Overtime: 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Fridays
Pay
$19.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Lay out, position, align, and secure parts using hand tools and measurement tools
Mount tires on suspensions
Mount fenders and mud flaps
Clean trailers after assembly
Pinstripe or sticker trailers
Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools
Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Strong mechanical ability or relevant experience required
Ability to read and interpret drawings and prints accurately
Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring instruments
Capable of using hand and power tools, including hoists and cranes
Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice to Have Skills
Previous experience in trailer or manufacturing assembly
Familiarity with mechanical drawings and measurements
Preferred Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Mechanical experience or aptitude
Other Requirements
Ability to work on-site at our manufacturing facility in Kent, Ohio
Physical ability to lift and handle parts as required
