We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling products with focus on maintaining high quality and efficiency standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work in a production environment.
What will you be doing?
- Build and assemble training models (working and static).
- Perform basic electrical connections as needed.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and performance requirements.
- Troubleshoot problems and resolve them.
- Calibrate and maintain equipment at your workstation.
- Work safely in an organized manner.
What do you need to be considered for the job?
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
- Natural ability to tinker and fix things.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Understand and use hand and power tools appropriately.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, tube benders, etc.)
- Adapt well to change.
- A “can-do” attitude - show the ability to solve problems and learn new skills.
- Dependable- arrive at 6am and be ready for the day.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with acrylic/model making.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, electrical)
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn.
