We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions while ensuring quality and efficiency. The Assembly Technician must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components and products following detailed instructions, technical drawings, and specifications.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assigned tasks.
Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled products meet company and industry standards.
Troubleshoot and identify defects or errors in the assembly process and report issues to the supervisor.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize workflow and production efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, including production logs and inspection reports.
Assist in training new team members as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in manufacturing is a plus.
Proven experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in a manufacturing setting.
Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
