Position Summary:
Performs assembly operations on electronic and mechanical components, analyzing processes and suggesting improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles modules, boards, panels, and cables using diagrams, drawings, and tools.
- Conducts quality checks and inspections, ensuring components meet standards.
- Disassembles, modifies, reworks, and tests assemblies, including prototypes.
- Positions and aligns parts using measuring instruments, following blueprints.
- Completes documentation and submits work for final inspection and certification.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, with experience in mechanical/electrical assembly preferred.
- Basic skills in riveting, hardware installation, and fabrication.
- Ability to read blueprints, operate hand tools, and follow procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, working flexible hours, and wearing respirators if needed.
