The Panther Group is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician I for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading medical device manufacturer in Nashua, NH.
This position supports the assembly of innovative medical devices during the Design Verification phase of product development. Working alongside Design & Development Engineers and Technicians, you'll play an important role in building high-quality medical devices while helping transition new products into manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Assemble and package complex medical devices according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
Support Design & Development projects during the Design Verification (Phase 3) process.
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products.
Complete quality documentation and production records accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with inventory management and material organization.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following established quality and safety procedures.
Work closely with engineers and technicians in a collaborative team environment.
Assist with the transfer of new products from development into production.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and manufacturing processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience using precision measurement tools such as:
Calipers
Micrometers
Pin gauges
Rulers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience assembling medical devices or other precision products.
Experience working in a clean room or Controlled Environment Room (CER).
Experience with laser welding equipment.
Experience with catheter manufacturing equipment, including:
Hot boxes
Laminators
Split die bonders
Tipping machines
Familiarity with ISO quality systems within a medical device manufacturing environment.
Ability to read manufacturing process instructions (MPIs).
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience completing quality documentation and production records.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to perform detailed assembly work under a microscope for extended periods.
Ability to handle and manipulate very small components with precision.
Pay rate up to $24.04 per hour Depending on experience
