Our client is seeking a temporary Assembly Technician to join their team! This position is located outside of Albany, NY. Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician will include:*Assemble and test products, including mechanical assembly of subcomponents
*Maintain tools
*Complete data entry and documentation tasks
*Follow detailed work instructions
*Maintain a clean work area
*Report issues and assist with process improvements
*Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications for the Assembly Technician:*Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
*Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with wiring
*Good communication skills with a commitment to customer service
*Able to follow directions and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
*Good hand-eye coordination
*2+ years' experience in a similar role is a plus
*Associates degree in physics, engineering, or another STEM field is a plus
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $20-$22/hr.
