This position is offering a pay rate of $25/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Job Description:

We are searching for a mechanical or electrical engineering technician to perform a wide variety of assembling, testing, and packaging tasks. The candidate will be responsible for completing several of the production-related tasks that enable our team to deliver these solutions to our customers in a timely manner. This position is contracted to run through the end of 2026. However, if the candidate performs well and shows a desire to grow their skillsets within the team, the opportunity may exist for the contract to be extended into 2027.

Responsibilities:

• Assembling and testing complex devices consisting of numerous mechanical and electrical components
• Building cable harnesses and other electrical assemblies
• Assembling complex kits using custom packaging
• Working with engineers to help manage the inventory for several high-demand products
• Assisting with packaging/skidding items for shipment to customer sites
• Assisting with set-up and tear-down of large automation systems

• Experience with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to read and follow a wiring schematic
• Experience crimping connectors, soldering, drilling, and tapping

Requirements:

• Associate"s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology
• 5 years of experience (flexible) assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical components
• Have actual experience in the responsibilities listed below
