We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to join our team as an Assembly Technician focused on transformers. In this role, you will support the production of high-quality transformers by assembling various components back into a complete unit in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, follows established procedures, and contributes to a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble transformer components and subassemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks such as mounting, fastening, wiring, and fitting parts accurately.
  • Inspect materials and completed assemblies to verify quality, fit, and conformance to standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
  • Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or equipment issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company procedures.
  • Follow safety guidelines, quality standards, and production schedules to meet daily goals.
  • Document completed work and maintain accurate records as required.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by sharing observations and suggesting process enhancements.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in assembly, manufacturing, electrical work, or a related mechanical environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Comfort using hand tools, measuring devices, and general production equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently, and contribute effectively to a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience assembling electromechanical products or heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with quality control practices and manufacturing safety standards.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet production deadlines.
