Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00/HR Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits

A Youngstown, Ohio area manufacture is hiring an experienced Fabrication and Assembly Technician. In this role, you will read and interpret shop blueprints to cut, drill, grind, assemble, and integrate electrical and mechanical components into custom control panels. Responsibilities

• Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematic layouts, and technical drawings.
• Measure and precisely layout device locations on stainless steel and mild steel enclosures.
• Safely operate a plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and power saws to create clean component cutouts.
• Mount din rails, wire ducts, industrial equipment, terminal blocks, and custom nameplates.
• Use standard hand and power tools to map, measure, drill, and tap steel plates.
• Monitor project builds to ensure quality meets strict client specifications while completing work within quoted project hours.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet tight assembly schedules, performing field/customer site work when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience using metalworking tools and machinery.
• Proven ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb. regularly throughout a shift.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Comfortable using a diverse range of hand tools, power tools, and precise layout measuring equipment.
