Position Summary
As an Assembly Technician, you will work on vehicle interior and exterior assemblies using a variety of hand and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit automotive components with precision
- Operate hand and power tools, including:
- Miter saws, routers, and band saws
- Die grinders, radial arm saws, and sanders
- Drill press, cut-off tools, and jig saws
- Work inside vehicle interiors and exterior areas, including tight spaces
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
- Maintain and use your own basic tool set (wrenches, sockets, pliers, tape measure, etc.)
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- Miter saw experience required
- Automotive assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure (assessment required)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- ASE Certification is a plus
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work overtime as needed
- Steel-toed boots required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Schedule & Pay
- 1st Shift:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Overtime Available:
- Early start as early as 5:00 AM
- Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
