Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist to join their dynamic team. As an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist, you will be an integral part of the production process, supporting the assembly of high-quality door units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $20.5

Shift: 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:15 AM, Monday - Thursday. 

What's the Job?

• Work on assigned production lines following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for specific tasks.
• Measure, cut, and assemble door units accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with manual labor tasks and ensure materials meet quality standards by verifying against the bill of materials.
• Palletize, wrap, and label finished units, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet product specifications and tolerances.

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, and squatting.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
