Assessment and Evaluation Manager

JOB OVERVIEW
The Assessment and Evaluation Manager provides operational leadership for the College's academic program assessment, institutional testing, survey administration, and evaluation activities. The Manager coordinates recurring assessment and evaluation processes and supports the use of assessment, testing, survey, and evaluation findings to improve academic programs, student services, and institutional processes. The position works collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and staff across the College. The Manager ensures the continued development and expansion of the Testing and Evaluation Center.
The Assessment and Evaluation Manager is a grant-funded position and salary commensurate with verifiable experience and education.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Academic Assessment and Evaluation
- Coordinate the annual academic program assessment process.
- Monitor assessment timelines, submissions, findings, and action plans.
- Support academic program assessment processes, documentation, and reporting expectations.
- Prepare assessment summaries and reports that support program improvement.
Testing, Surveys, and Evaluation Services
- Coordinate institutional testing activities, such as Major Field Test, testing accommodations, and other institutional testing activities.
- Coordinate administration of institutional surveys, including course evaluations, satisfaction and experience surveys, and other institutional feedback initiatives.
- Develop annual testing and survey calendars and schedules.
- Monitor participation and maintain testing and survey records.
- Prepare summaries and reports of testing and survey results.
Testing Center Development
- Support initiatives that strengthen the College's Testing and Evaluation function.
- Planning and operational development of expanded testing and evaluation services.
- Support development of partnerships and processes that prepare the College to provide testing services for external organizations and community stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of sustainable testing and evaluation operations that support future growth of the Center.
Documentation and Collaboration
- Maintain assessment, testing, survey, and evaluation records and supporting documentation.
- Develop and maintain procedures, templates, and reference materials.
- Collaborate with faculty and campus offices to support assessment, testing, survey, and evaluation activities.
- Communicate assessment, testing, and survey schedules and reporting requirements.
- Participate in committees, workgroups, and professional development related to assessment and student learning.
- Maintain confidentiality of institutional information and records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
Preferred fields include:

- Related fields
Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in assessment, evaluation, testing, institutional research, higher education administration, or related areas.
- Experience in higher education preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience coordinating program assessment.
- Experience administering institutional surveys.
- Experience supporting institutional testing services.
- Experience preparing assessment and evaluation reports.
- Experience using survey administration or assessment management systems.

- Experience using survey platforms and related technologies.
- Ability to learn institutional information systems and reporting applications.

The employee is regularly required to sit, communicate, use computers, and perform routine office activities. Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds may be required. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment with routine use of computers and office equipment. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support testing schedules, survey administration, assessment activities, and institutional deadlines.
