Overview:
GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an Asset Coordinator to work on-site in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, supporting the Pennsylvania Judiciary’s IT Asset Management team. This long-term contract/RTH opportunity focuses on coordinating hardware and network service repairs, equipment changes, vendor services, asset inventories, and technology operations across Pennsylvania Judiciary facilities.
Position Overview:
As an Asset Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating equipment change requests, hardware and network service repairs, vendor dispatches, and technology-related service requests across Pennsylvania Judiciary facilities. You will serve as a primary liaison between court personnel, IT leadership, hardware vendors, and telecommunications providers while monitoring service delivery, maintaining asset and service records, supporting procurement activities, and ensuring vendors meet contractual service-level requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and monitor contracted field services at remote Judiciary facilities, tracking projects through completion and ensuring vendors meet contractual SLAs for response times, resolution standards, and on-site performance.
- Coordinate end-to-end requests for new hardware, equipment relocations, and emergency repairs involving site cabling, wiring, and phone infrastructure.
- Oversee central inventory reserves and track remote-site technology assets, including thin clients, displays, printers, server racks, routers, switches, power management equipment, and remote access hardware.
- Participate in vendor reviews, address service delivery and performance issues, and support vendor accountability.
- Serve as a primary liaison with District Court Administrators, Magisterial District Judges, Appellate contacts, and County IT leadership throughout the service request process.
- Maintain accurate facility floor plans for MDJ locations and provide them to technicians for maintenance and hardware installations.
- Review and process monthly telecommunications invoices while accurately entering data into tracking systems for fiscal oversight.
- Maintain vendor service-call records, resolution reports, equipment changes, and costs using spreadsheets and specialized tracking tools.
- Support procurement and process-development activities, including ITBs/RFPs, lifecycle management plans, pricing analyses, and SOPs for asset workflows and vendor dispatching.
- Collaborate with other Asset Coordinators on circuit ordering, mobile wireless device provisioning, ticket tracking in TICKETS, asset recording in EAMS, and overall team backup support.
- Support the monitoring and negotiation of site-specific contracts with telecommunications, hardware, and cabling providers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in IT hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Associate’s degree in an information technology field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check conducted by the AOPC.
Preferred Experience:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
