Job Summary: The Asset Clerk assists in the day-to-day activities of the Asset Department through data entry, asset check-in/out, and ordering required materials.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist the Asset Manager in maintaining accurate files in the database systems used to track assets. Check equipment, tools and vehicles in and out to field employees. Maintain inventory and auditing of tools, equipment, and outfitted trailers. Maintain service records of vehicles and equipment and assist the manager in scheduling the required maintenance. Maintain gas monitors to include repairs, calibration and inventory. Coordinate the repair of company owned tools. Maintain and inspect company owned Fall Protection Systems. Tracks vehicle/equipment hours for usage and accounting. Receiving material/tools and track per job. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent Computer skills required. Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols. Basic math and measuring skills. Manual dexterity and attention to detail. Possess current driver's license. CDL preferred Must be able to read and communicate in English to understand technical documents, safety procedures, and instructions relevant to job duties. English proficiency is required due to operational and safety communication needs.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. Experience performing duties listed above preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in hot, cold, and noisy environments. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
