Associate/Senior Real Estate Investment ManagementAn established real estate platform is looking to add an Associate/Senior to support both new investments and ongoing portfolio oversight. This position provides hands-on exposure to evaluating opportunities, executing transactions, and helping guide asset-level performance post-close. Working directly with senior team members, the role is designed for someone who can operate across both analytical and operational aspects of investing, contributing meaningfully in a fast-moving, team-oriented setting. This opportunity is well suited for individuals seeking a long-term path in real estate investment management, with involvement spanning from initial deal review through stabilized operations. The role is based in a large metropolitan market and may include occasional site visits.Investment & Transaction SupportAssess inbound opportunities and help prioritize those warranting deeper reviewDevelop financial analyses to evaluate returns, sensitivities, and potential risksCompile insights on local market dynamics, supply/demand trends, and comparable assetsCreate internal materials to support investment decisions and capital allocation discussionsCoordinate various moving pieces of the diligence process, working alongside external advisors and internal stakeholdersReview proposed business strategies and capital deployment plans to identify key assumptions and execution challengesMaintain active engagement with intermediaries and market contacts to support deal sourcing effortsPortfolio & Asset OversightTrack performance across assets, identifying variances to plan and areas requiring attentionAnalyze operating results, including revenue trends, expense levels, and leasing momentumCollaborate with operating partners to address challenges and implement improvement initiativesContribute to forward-looking planning exercises such as annual budgets and longer-term forecastsSupport initiatives aimed at enhancing asset value, whether through operational efficiencies, revenue optimization, or capital improvementsAssist in ensuring adherence to financing requirements and stakeholder reporting obligationsProduce analysis and reporting materials to inform internal decision-making and strategic discussionsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
