Asset Management Analyst

Position Overview:

Power your future with Qualus in our Engineering Department as an Asset Management Analyst. As an Asset Management Analyst you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the life cycle of physical assets to ensure they serve the intended purpose efficiently and effectively. This includes the development of the strategy and business process around it. Builds and maintains effective relationships with key internal and/or external decision makers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review existing Asset Maintenance Plans for transmission and substation equipment.
• Define and standardize preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Establish end-of-life (EOL) and replacement criteria.
• Develop and manage spare equipment and parts strategies.
• NERC and FERC reliability standards.
• Analyze asset performance, maintenance history, and failure data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Transmission Operations and Maintenance, System Planning and Protection Engineering, Procurement and Project Management teams, and Environmental and Compliance teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical) or related field is required.
• 5 years of experience in electric utility transmission or substation engineering, or asset management, reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or a related role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of high-voltage substation equipment (115kV to 345kV), circuit breaker technologies, power transformers and diagnostic methods.
• Working knowledge of asset lifecycle management and reliability-centered maintenance concepts.
• Familiarity with NERC standards, IEEE/IEC maintenance and testing standards.
• Experience using asset management or CMM/EAM systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
