An asset management firm or investment manager may seek an Asset Management Associate to support portfolio management, investment analysis, and ongoing monitoring of assets across public and private markets. This role provides exposure to portfolio construction, performance analysis, risk monitoring, and client reporting, working closely with portfolio managers and senior investment professionals.
Support portfolio management teams with investment analysis and monitoring
Analyze asset performance, attribution, and risk metrics across portfolios
Build and maintain financial models for public and private investments
Conduct market, sector, and security-level research
Assist with portfolio rebalancing, capital allocation, and trade support
Prepare client reports, performance summaries, and investment commentary
Support due diligence on new investment opportunities and strategies
Collaborate with operations, risk, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Interest in asset management, portfolio strategy, and capital markets
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or experience in asset management, investment research, banking, consulting, or FP&A is beneficial
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar) is a plus
