Martekhas been awarded several long-term Federal contracts to provide a wide range of real estate talent.  Our team is seeking  an Asset Management/Preventive Maintenance Specialist to join our team supporting the Department of Energy (DoE) with the required education and experience outlined below.

Full-time, 5 Days a week
Site Address: 1000 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive asset inventory (furniture, equipment, building systems).
  • Tag, track, and manage asset data within a centralized system (e.g., CMMS).
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for critical systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical).
  • Coordinate with facilities and vendors for maintenance planning and execution.
  • Ensure assets are properly installed, tested, and operational post-move.
  • Support warranty tracking and lifecycle cost analysis.
  • Establish standard processes for ongoing asset management in the new building.

Job Qualifications:

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
    OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP, or asset management/CMMS certifications) preferred

Experience Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
