Under general direction of the Utility Director, this position is responsible for all aspects of the wastewater collection system asset management of the infrastructure and other assets associated with the collection system. General duties include data collection, documenting construction additions to and repair of collection system components and underground sewer utility locating. Additionally emergency collection system service "call-outs" during and after business hours and local public/customer and contractor relations are required for this position. This position requires management and implementation of the Safety Program and the Mosquito Abatement Program. This position will also be responsible for the management and documentation of the collection of issuance of tap fees and permits.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES"*" denotes an essential function of the job*Document and institutionalize system mapping, documents, digital records, components, including repairs of collection system infrastructure and underground sewer utility inspections/locating.*Initiate, update, manage and maintain GIS system and employee/customer access.*Manage permit services, fee collection and inspections/locates.*Answer emergency locate calls through emergency collection system service during and after business hours and maintain public relations with clients and customers.*Follow OSHA Regulations.
