Asset Protection 

As an Asset Protection Associate (loss prevention), you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company's assets and minimizing losses due to theft, fraud, and operational discrepancies. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing security measures to ensure the protection of both physical and intangible assets. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent observational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams within the organization. 

 

Responsibilities

 

Surveillance and Monitoring: 

  • Conduct routine surveillance of designated areas to identify and deter suspicious activities. 
  • Utilize surveillance systems, CCTV cameras, and other monitoring tools to maintain a constant awareness of the premises, interior, and secured production environments. 

Loss Prevention:

  • Implement and enforce loss prevention protocols to minimize theft and fraud. 
  • Collaborate with company management and Director of Asset Protections to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. 

Investigation and Reporting: 

  • Collaborate with Information Security Coordinator to conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, or policy violations. 
  • Compile detailed reports on incidents, providing recommendations for improvement. 

Training and Awareness: 

  • Continuous training on high security policies, procedures, and best practices. 
  • Promote a culture of awareness and vigilance to prevent security incidents. 

Physical Assets: 

  • Monitor keys going out to employees working in secure areas. 
  • Monitor high visibility vests for employees working in secure aeras. 
  • Keep and monitor radios on charging station and tracking of said radios. 

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV, and other security technologies. 
  • Strong observational and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. 
  • Must have at least 2-3 year of experience.
