Position Overview\n
We are seeking dependable and service-oriented Asset Recovery Field Technicians to support the pickup, transportation, tracking, and movement of computers and other technology equipment at customer locations throughout the service area.
\n
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of technology, logistics, driving, and hands-on work. Field Technicians will travel to authorized locations, verify equipment scheduled for recovery, maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation, safely load and transport technology assets, update electronic work records, and deliver equipment to designated processing locations.

Recent associate-degree graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided on established asset-handling, transportation, documentation, security, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Travel to authorized customer locations to complete scheduled technology asset pickups and equipment moves.
- \n
- Review assigned work orders or tickets and confirm pickup information, equipment quantities, locations, and authorized contacts.
- \n
- Verify asset tags, serial numbers, equipment counts, and other identifying information.
- \n
- Scan equipment and accurately document custody transfers and asset movements.
- \n
- Safely disconnect, protect, pack, cart, palletize, load, transport, unload, and stage computers and related equipment as required.
- \n
- Operate company-provided vehicles for approved assignments after completing required authorization and training.
- \n
- Vehicle assignments may include vans and box trucks depending on equipment quantity and operational requirements.
- \n
- Maintain secure chain of custody throughout pickup, loading, transportation, unloading, and delivery.
- \n
- Reconcile transported equipment against applicable tickets, manifests, and destination records.
- \n
- Update work activities, status, scheduling information, exceptions, and completion details in an IT service management or ticketing system.
- \n
- Communicate professionally with authorized site contacts and internal team members.
- \n
- Report discrepancies, missing equipment, damage, access issues, incorrect asset information, or other exceptions.

- Follow established requirements for secure transportation, asset handling, workplace safety, and confidentiality.

- Assist with equipment staging, receiving, inventory, or related depot activities when operational needs require.

Preferred Qualifications\n
- \n
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Electronics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- \n
- Recent associate-degree graduates and candidates starting their careers are encouraged to apply.

- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company vehicle-use requirements.

- Safe and responsible driving history.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.

- Previous experience through internships, delivery/logistics work, warehouse operations, IT support, computer labs, field services, or customer service is a plus but not required.

Travel & Physical Requirements\n
- \n
- Regular local and regional driving is an essential part of the position.
- \n
- Some assignments may involve longer-distance travel.
- \n
- Occasional approved overnight travel may be required depending on route, schedule, workload, or operational needs.
- \n
- Ability to safely handle, move, pack, load, and unload computers, monitors, printers, peripherals, and related technology equipment using appropriate procedures and available material-handling equipment.

- Must follow all applicable vehicle-use, lifting, security, and workplace-safety requirements.

- Must be able to complete required background screening and security, confidentiality, safety, and job-specific training.

Schedule\n
- \n
- Full-time position with schedules based on planned pickups, travel requirements, and operational workload.
- \n
- Scheduled shifts may fall within an operational coverage window generally between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- \n
- Overtime may be available or required based on scheduled pickups, travel, and operational needs.
