Admin / Bookkeeper
Location: Spokane, WA
Schedule: Full-time, In-Office
Pay Rate: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
Job Summary
The Admin / Bookkeeper provides administrative and financial support by maintaining accurate records, assisting with billing and collections activities, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances. This role combines administrative coordination, data entry, customer communication, and basic bookkeeping responsibilities in a structured office environment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers, documentation, and routine processes while supporting both internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, document management, and record maintenance
Assist with accounts receivable activities, including tracking payments and monitoring outstanding balances
Follow up on delinquent accounts and past-due invoices through email and phone communication
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and update financial information in internal systems
Reconcile account balances and research discrepancies
Process, review, and organize financial and customer documentation
Communicate with customers, vendors, and business partners regarding account status, payments, and documentation requests
Support billing and collection efforts while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach
Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and up to date
Follow established procedures and maintain detailed documentation of all account activity
Daily Work Environment
Approximately 80% of work is email-based
Some inbound and outbound phone communication
Fully desk-based role with no field work
Structured, repeatable workflow with defined processes
Collaborative office environment
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, billing, collections, or office administration preferred
Experience following up on delinquent accounts or outstanding invoices is a plus
Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge preferred
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
Experience working in a professional office environment

Work Schedule and Location
Full-time, in-office role based in Spokane, WA
Standard business hours
Ability to remain focused at a desk for a full 8-hour workday
Regular interaction with customers, vendors, and business partners nationwide
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
