Job Purpose:<\/b>
<\/div>

<\/div>
The Asset Technician is responsible for the physical preparation, inspection, and documentation of equipment for mobilization and demobilization. This role supports the company’s internal asset management program by ensuring that all field assets are fully compliant, maintained, and certified before being issued to a project. The Asset Technician performs routine technical maintenance, executes preventative maintenance and inspection procedures, and maintains the integrity of the equipment’s certification status within the company’s digital asset tracking system.

Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/div>

<\/div>
  • Execute physical mobilization and demobilization of assets, ensuring all equipment is staged, inspected, and verified against project requirements.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform routine maintenance and testing tasks to ensure equipment remains in operational condition, including execution of standardized preventative maintenance, inspection, and testing.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Verify that all asset certifications are current and upload supporting documentation to the master asset record in the company’s ERP/asset tracking system. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Promote safety awareness and comply with all applicable safety procedures and regulations. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain current knowledge of safety standards and be familiar with company HSE policies and procedures.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform visual inspections and basic troubleshooting of electro -mechanical assemblies. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Load, unload, and stage items delivered to and shipped from the facility, ensuring adherence to established asset milestone programs. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring records are updated in real -time. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying the physical condition of equipment. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with the Lead and Asset Coordinator to ensure project timelines are met regarding asset readiness.

    Qualifications and Experience:<\/b>
    <\/div>

    <\/div>
    • High school diploma or GED and at least 2 -3 years of work experience in an oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial workshop environment.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Mechanical aptitude; ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and parts lists. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Demonstrated ability to follow structured, formal maintenance procedures and quality standards. Basic computer proficiency for accessing procedures, documenting work, and updating asset records in an ERP system. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Must be able to operate a forklift and other industrial warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently within a team environment. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Previous experience working in an industrial shop, warehouse, or field service environment. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Mechanical and Hydraulic knowledge required to test and maintain subsea assets. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in various working conditions. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast -paced environment.
