The Assignment Coordinator position coordinates all non-sales assignment details including but not limited to assignment set up, customer service, travel, housing, and all assignment logistics. In addition, they will be responsible to assist with training and mentoring of new employees as well as supporting management decisions and changes.
Responsibilities
Serves as a customer service point of contact for providers and clients
Handles inbound and outbound phone calls and emails
Sets up, confirms, and maintains assignments in FOX from initial setup through completion
Coordinates travel, housing, and first-day/orientation details for each assignment
Creates and distributes assignment documents (Confirmation Letters, Assignment Details Letters) and tracks signed letters to completion
Verifies credentialing, licensing, hospital privileging, and contract status throughout the life of an assignment
Coordinates contracts and amendments with contracts team
Handles data entry, document collection, and electronic filing across multiple systems
Manages assignment date changes, extensions, and cancellations
Provider and team contact for travel and housing issues and resolution
Assist in training and mentoring new employees
Support management decisions and changes
Manages document management system
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based applications
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Professional written and oral communication skills
Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize urgent, overlapping deadlines
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven accuracy in record keeping
Capable of meeting goals and objectives
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
2 years work experience in an administrative and/or customer service role
Experience in the healthcare or staffing industries preferred
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Comfortable learning and navigating multiple internal systems (FOX, OneView, Workday)
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $49,920 -- $72,592 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
