What you will be doing as an Assistant Account Manager, Freight Consolidation:
- Manage all aspects of customer order submission, from entering received orders to resolving any issues that arise during shipment
- Maintain ongoing relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction with services received
- Work with Freight Consolidated Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Effectively manage customer freight to deliver on time, within budget, and in good condition
- Work with Freight Consolidated Ops to optimize vehicle capacity, route optimization, and delivery schedule requirements
- Attain predetermined performance metrics as outlined by your manager
- Plan, research, and represent the company to customers
- All other duties as assigned by your manager
What You Need:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, OR
- 4+ years of customer service and/or order entry experience
Operational Skills:
- Experience with order entry and shipment tracking/resolution
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and general office productivity tools
