What you will be doing as an Assistant Account Manager, Freight Consolidation:

  • Manage all aspects of customer order submission, from entering received orders to resolving any issues that arise during shipment
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction with services received
  • Work with Freight Consolidated Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Effectively manage customer freight to deliver on time, within budget, and in good condition
  • Work with Freight Consolidated Ops to optimize vehicle capacity, route optimization, and delivery schedule requirements
  • Attain predetermined performance metrics as outlined by your manager
  • Plan, research, and represent the company to customers
  • All other duties as assigned by your manager

What You Need:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, OR
  • 4+ years of customer service and/or order entry experience 

Operational Skills:

  • Experience with order entry and shipment tracking/resolution
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and general office productivity tools
