KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice for an experienced Accountant/Assistant Accountant to join their successful team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing client relationships. They will be comfortable working to deadlines, managing their own workload, and contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
Produce corporation tax computations accurately and to a high standard.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Produce management accounts and financial reports for clients.
Review client accounting records and identify opportunities for process improvements and software efficiencies.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
Provide support and advice on accounting systems and best practices.
Work both within the office and at client premises when required.
Ensure all work is completed within agreed deadlines and in line with professional standards.
Skills & Experience Required
AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Experience using Sage and/or Xero would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High standards of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic.
Full clean UK driving licence.
