Under the direction of the Administrator, the assistant administrator ensures quality resident care through compliance with all federal, state and local laws as well as retaining highly trained, happy and motivated staff. The Assistant Administrator will support the Administrator as a strong member of the interdisciplinary care planning team and act as the site Administrator, as needed. The Assistant Administrator provides non-clinical support and department head leadership in preparation of becoming an Administrator.

Qualifications:

Must have:

• Current healthcare administration student actively pursuing Administrator license.
• Ability to pass the Minnesota Nursing Home Administration licensing exam within one year of hire.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Current Minnesota Nursing Home Administration license.
