ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – COLUMBUS, OH

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a reliable, experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Columbus, OH.

We need a hands-on candidate who understands multifamily maintenance and is ready to jump in and support the maintenance team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience REQUIRED
• HVAC experience highly preferred
• HVAC certification is a strong plus
• Experience with work orders and apartment make-readies
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete maintenance tasks efficiently
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude
• Must be available to start ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with daily apartment maintenance and repairs
• Complete work orders and make-ready turns
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Assist with preventative maintenance
• Help maintain common areas, grounds, and vacant units
• Support the Lead Maintenance Technician and property team
• Provide quality, timely service to residents
