The College of Nursing Department of Community and Population Health at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time (12-month) tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor. This position will be responsible for teaching within the DNP program.
The UT Health Science Center embraces four missions: education, research, clinical care, and institutional service. Academic rank is commensurate with academic experience.
Provide leadership in community and population health and contribute to a full range of faculty activities: teaching, research/scholarly activity, and service. Secure external funding in support of programs and research, teach in PhD, DNP, and/or BSN programs, advise doctoral students, and support students in scholarship/research.
EDUCATION: Doctoral Degree from an accredited university program.
EXPERIENCE: Evidence of professional excellence in a full range of faculty activities including teaching, research/scholarly activity, and service, as well as practice where appropriate.
LICENSES: Unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure in Tennessee is required. Evidence of scholarship, including publications, presentations, and grant funding, is required. Active engagement in appropriate professional organizations is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
