Position Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our Peoria campus is seeking General OB/GYN physicians for both full-time and part-time roles. These positions involve providing comprehensive healthcare in inpatient and outpatient environments, as well as actively participating in the education and clinical training of residents and medical students. Our expanding program allows for a position tailored to your interests in patient care, teaching, and maintaining a flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology across both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Engage in teaching residents and medical students within the clinical context of obstetrics and gynecology, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
  • Participate in scholarly activities.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
  • Perform additional related duties and engage in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to teach residents and medical students.
  • Experience or interest in research and academic leadership is preferred.
