Position Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our Peoria campus is seeking General OB/GYN physicians for both full-time and part-time roles. These positions involve providing comprehensive healthcare in both inpatient and outpatient environments, as well as actively engaging in the education and clinical training of residents and medical students. Our expanding program offers candidates the opportunity to focus on OB/GYN patient care, teach future physicians, and enjoy a flexible work-life balance.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology across outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Participate in the education of residents and medical students, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
  • Engage in scholarly activities.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
  • Perform additional related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to teach residents and medical students.
  • Experience or interest in research and academic leadership is preferred.

Compensation

The anticipated salary for this role ranges from $350,000 to $400,000 per year. Compensation is competitive and will be determined based on qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
