Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing (Mental Health Instructor) - School of Nursing Midland University, a private liberal-arts college in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional nursing faculty member with expertise in mental health for a full-time position in the School of Nursing beginning August 2027.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Teaching course and clinical content to include didactic, clinical and simulation
Creating engaging and innovative learning experiences that foster clinical judgment, critical thinking, professional development, and the application of evidence-based nursing practice
Mentoring students to promote academic success and professional growth
Participation in student recruitment and retention efforts
Outcome assessment and data collection to ensure continuous improvement and to meet regulator and accreditation requirements
Serving on departmental and university committees that support the Mission of Midland University and the School of Nursing
Supporting accreditation, regulatory, and State Board requirements and initiatives
