    • Statistics & Historical Archives: Maintain accurate in-game statistics, updated bios, rosters, record books, and historical archives for assigned programs.
    • Conference & National Collaboration: Partner directly with the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) and NCAA offices on reporting, statistical accuracy, and award nominations.
    • Departmental Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support ticket sales, recruiting, and community engagement initiatives, and assist with department-wide coverage of additional sports as needed.
    • Travel & On-Site Lead: Travel with assigned teams as the on-site communications and content-capture lead for away and postseason competitions.
    • Compliance: Perform all duties in strict compliance with University, NCAA, and Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations.

    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for storytelling and editing.
    • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills for publication design, website updates, and in-game statistical software (e.g., StatBroadcast/PrestoSports).
    • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of intercollegiate sports and athletic media relations operations.
    • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and team travel.
