As an Assistant Athletic Trainer, you'll work under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer to provide hands-on care focused on injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency response.
In this role, you'll provide athletic training services throughout the year, including coverage for home and away competitions, practices, and athletic events. You'll assess and treat injuries, provide first aid and emergency care, determine when medical referral is needed, and support student-athletes throughout rehabilitation and recovery. You'll educate athletes and coaches on injury prevention and treatment, maintain accurate electronic medical records and injury documentation, and assist with insurance procedures and program administration. You'll also support athletic camps and clinics, assist with equipment and supply management, and help coordinate first aid coverage for athletic events.
We're looking for an athletic training professional with strong knowledge of injury recognition, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation. The ideal candidate responds calmly and effectively in emergency situations, manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and communicates clearly with student-athletes, coaches, healthcare professionals, and others. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to build productive relationships are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university and two years full-time equivalent related experience and/or training required. Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for experience.

Starting pay range: $42,070 - $50,484
