The Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing & Fan Experience position assists in the development and execution of marketing, fan engagement, attendance growth, and revenue generation initiatives that support the University of South Carolina Athletics Department. The Assistant Athletics Director works collaboratively across the department to enhance the Gamecock Athletics brand, elevate the fan experience, drive ticket sales and attendance, and create innovative opportunities for revenue growth.
The Assistant Athletics Director serves as the primary marketing contact for baseball and serves as the departments secondary football marketing lead. This position will direct the departments mascot program, serves on departmental committees related to revenue generation and brand development, and help lead the creation and implementation of new revenue-generating events and fan engagement opportunities.

Baseball Marketing Strategy, Attendance Growth & Fan Experience: Serve as the primary marketing contact for baseball, developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive marketing, fan engagement, and game presentation plans designed to increase attendance, enhance the game-day atmosphere, and support revenue objectives. Create and execute promotional campaigns, group sales initiatives, theme nights, grassroots marketing efforts, and other attendance-driving programs. Plan, coordinate, and execute all fan experience and game presentation elements for baseball, including game themes, entertainment elements, promotions, sponsor activations, videoboard content, public address announcements, and fan engagement initiatives. Collaborate with coaches, sport administrators, communications, creative services, ticket operations, Learfield, and external partners to execute integrated marketing campaigns and achieve departmental goals.

Football Marketing: Serve as the departments secondary football marketing lead, assisting with the planning, execution, and evaluation of comprehensive marketing, fan engagement, and game presentation strategies for one of the departments premier revenue-generating programs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a best-in-class fan experience and successful execution of football marketing initiatives.
