The role focuses on representing the Ohio Department of Transportation in appropriation proceedings and providing legal advice on related matters.Primary ResponsibilitiesRepresent the Ohio Department of Transportation in appropriation proceedings throughout Ohio.Provide legal advice on transportation‑related matters.Support the agency in other transportation legal issues.QualificationsLicensed to practice law in Ohio pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.Preferred: experience in real estate, land use/zoning, or environmental law.Preferred: prior litigation experience.Schedule & TravelHybrid schedule based in the Columbus office, with possible adjustments for training and operational needs.
