Unique opportunity for the right candidate to work at a beautiful 10-acre private estate in Carmel, CA
Key Accountabilities
- Assist fleet manager with vehicle inspections, repairs, and general maintenance.
- Provide support in routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake services, tire services, fluid checks, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assist with diagnosing, repairing, and testing vehicle systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Support workshop administration by maintaining service records, scheduling appointments, and managing parts and inventory.
- Participate in ongoing training and comply with company, manufacturer, and industry standards.
General Requirements
- Possess knowledge of auto detailing and able to perform diagnostic and minor mechanical work.
- Demonstrate expertise in both high-end antique and modern vehicles.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an automotive production shop or as a factory-trained mechanic.
- Able to complete tasks with little or no supervision
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling a physically demanding role.
- Open to receiving and acting on constructive feedback.
- Capable of working in a highly discreet environment.
This is a temporary, seasonal position (approximately two weeks of employment plus select weekends leading up to events).
Salary: $50.00 per hour
