At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Afternoon Froster / Assistant Baker is at the heart of it all.

Dedicated to perfecting the craft, you are able to support the Bakery because you see beauty in raw ingredients and strive for consistency when you make our guests' favorite recipes. You'll make and frost the cakes that make people's days, so you'll get to enjoy yours as well.

Your primary responsibilities in this role as the Assistant Baker/Froster and Back of the Bakery Extraordinaire are to:

• Make frosting and frost all cakes according to NBCs standards and time guidelines including cakes available for walk-in guests, pre-ordered cakes, and marketing cakes. All of our frosters have the responsibility to keep the frosting station clean, sanitized and running efficiently.
• Assist our head baker to help bake all sizes and flavors of cakes offered by NBC according to NBCs standards and time guidelines. It will be the assistant bakers responsibility to keep the baking station clean, sanitized and running efficiently, as well as tracking inventory.
• Wash dishes from the baking and frosting department as well as cleaning the bakery. Cleaning will include floors, walls, bathrooms, shelves etc. You will also have time to fold boxes, track inventory and make labels and organize.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Abide by all NBC policies and procedures
• Uphold NBCs image and brand
• Assist other departments when necessary
• Put baked cakes away and rotate cakes in cooler according to NBC standards
• Communicate with management about equipment, including problems and maintenance
• Bake cakes in all sizes and flavors by diligently following recipes
• Remove cakes from pans and package properly
• Fold boxes and label containers
• Track inventory of baked goods
• Order and receive groceries
• Provide management with a daily production sheet
• Keep area clean and sanitized including tables, equipment and tools
• Frost cakes according to all NbC standards in an efficient and effective manner
• Make frosting and track inventory of ingredients needed
• Wash all dishes
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the bakery
• Empty trash and take to dumpster

Work Availability & Schedule:

• Must have the flexibility to work various shifts; including Saturdays, based on changing business demands.
